I have a client who is getting problems in using the Smart Finder in Receivables. It locks up the program. Any ideas?

We have no known issues for what you describe. Is there more than one user logged in using the same UserID? What version of AR are they using?

Hi - the client is running the most recent version and has installed the latest service packs. They claim that this only started occuring during the last couple of weeks. I have forwarded your questions regarding users and will let you know.

Hi Lars,

If Receivables crashes as soon as F6 is pressed, it usually means that there are old temporary files hanging around that shouldn't be there. I beleive that the SmartFinder files begin CRFnnn'? for Receivables. Delete these files when everyone is out of the program.

Thanks Andrew. The client just emailed me and noted that they are using version of AR is 060625, version 8.0A. Also, there are no multiple instances of the same user logged in at the same time. I will pass your response to the client.
