Dear JWA

Hmmm. Switching printers can be a good experience if all goes well. It sounds like Windows is complaining about the way the information is spooling.

The message you are getting, although displayed in QR, is not a QR error message. There is no place within QR to designate printer settings, other than default page layout information.

You could check to see that your system has enough conventional memory - there should be at least 508k allocated to allow QR work efficiently.

To check how much conventional memory your system has, go to the DOS prompt. At the root of your local drive, type MEM then press <Enter>. The first line displayed should be the conventional memory.

Another thing you could try is to go in to QR, Options, Configure. Ensure that the option "Extended Memory" is set to "Y".

If you need assistance with your system memory and how to increase it if required, you should really get in touch with your ACCPAC Dealer or other person who can help you further with this.
