My gl reports seem to take a long time to print. It hasn't always been like this. Was it one of the recent upgrades that slowed it down? They print really, really slow. Or is there some setting I can change?

By "gl reports" are you refering to batch listings and trial balances, or financial statements? By "take a long time to print", do you mean to start printing the first page, select the data, or print each page in the report?

I mean printing financial statments and every page, not just the first page.

If you'd care to send me your general ledger and financial statements, I can try and print them here and see what timings I experience. If you copy your data to your local hard disk and print the statements from there, what is the relative timing like compared to printing them on the network? Have you recently change or updated your virus protection? Have you notice any slow down in any other Adagio functions or running other programs?

I'm not sure how you mean to send the reports to you.

I frequently export them to excel and they print fine from there.

I don't recall anything that we changed and no I don't notice an issue from any other Adagio function.

From the general ledger, select File | Backup | Adagio Ledger and e-mail me the resulting ZIP with a note saying which statements are printing "slowly". I'll run them off our network and send you (privately) the timings. You can compare against your experience and see where the bottleneck might be.
