What has changed in your setup since the last time this report was printed? New printer installed? New computer or operating system? Adagio service packs?

Hello Fong,

CHKSYS.EXE is reporting errors (wrong tables and missing CPRE32.DLL) and you do not have the current service packs installed for OrderEntry and Receivables. Perhaps in cleaning up your system drive someone uninstalled an application that removed the CRPE32.DLL or failed to move some files around. Re-installing OrderEntry and/or Receivables should solve the problem.

I'm assuming Andrew diagnosed the problem off-line and is reporting his findings.

This thread is a particularly good example of how you sometimes have to painfully extract answers from a user who is convinced that the program is at fault, when it turns out that the user is at fault.

Fong - if you would express your appreciation here for the effort it appears Softrak has taken to resolve your issue, I would ask the moderator to please delete my comments. Or if I am mistaken, then I apologize and will the moderator delete my comments too.

Just joking, Andrew(the hacking comment). We don't mess with our system. Our consultant do that. . So you have solved the mystery. Thanks for the support!

The users in our accounting department are just doing everyday data entry. We don't mess with any installation or upgrade of software; or attempt to fix any technical problem we encounterd. And that's why we've spend so much on consultant's support.

Maxine reinstalled and upgraded OE. But we still can't print the fax queue.
