AP Groups Set up and "Rights"

Hi, I have set up a user group in AP that allows those assigned to it, to enter our vendor invoices. I do not want them to have access to sensitive information in AP, therefore their access is quite limited. I would like to have the same personnel check our vendor statements against their invoices that have been inputed; however there are vendors that the details of invoices and payments should not be made widely available. ie: distributions, bonuses. How can I give them access to "some" vendor transactions and not "all"? Is there something in the vendor's profiles that I can check or input that would make them password sensitive, or perhaps in a separate "group"?
Thanks in advance for your time, Karen

I know the Gridview report would be available as a "view" in AR- what about in AP? They don't have any other modules available to them, other than AP.

Okay, I set up a gridview file that is now in AP, HOWEVER, even with the filter set up restricting vendors, simply toggling the filter allows ALL vendors to be visible. What do I do now?

Karen:
When you set up a User in Adagio, in addition to Code, Name, Password etc., you have a checkmark labelled "Edit GidView". Remove that checkmark for the users in question. They will not be able to change the Filter.
Note: i) this setting will apply across all modules for that User, ii) I don't believe the setting was available versions older than 8.0.

Bruce, that was already done. No checkmark for gridview. We have the most current version, however, they are still able to "toggle" the filter on and off. They can't actually change what I've created as a filter, but they can turn it on and off. Filter "off" is the problem.
I appreciate your trying to help!

I have a similar situation where filters are set up for users to view specific accounts in the Ledger. However, they can toggle off the filter and view all the accounts in the Ledger which is very problematic for this particular First Nations organization. (I'm hoping the users don't discover the filter toggle ). I'd like to see the filter button greyed out if the user doesn't have the view creation rights. Would this be possible? Lars
