I import my journal entries through Excel, but it keeps cutting the description field off after 8 characters. Instead of seeing "Correct prior month coding", I see "Correct ". My import field has a width of 60, but that doesn't seem to help. Can you steer me in the right direction to clear this up?

Try saving the spreadsheet as a ".CSV" file and importing from there. Does the problem go away?
