As mentioned in the other issue you posted, Adagio Time and Billing is still in development so it's difficult to comment on features until the product is shipping.
My understanding with the Dynaview dictionaries is that they were created with the DOS-style architechture in mind for a product called Dynaview, where a user could print a list of fields for a specific file.
Quik Link is a product that is intended for Financial Reporting, but an added bonus due to it's usage of Dynaview dictionaries is that it can read data other than GL. It's reporting capabilities are structured more for Excel-spreadsheet style reports.
The better way to report off of data (other than financial reports) is to use Quik Reports for Windows, which definitely will support all Adagio products including Adagio Time and Billing. You will have much more functionality and flexibility as to the type of reports you can create, and still enjoy Windows-style formatting.
