Dear Team.

In ((Accpac Dos)) I could archive batches from Company A and retrieve each batch into Company B.

How can I achieve this task in ADAGIO GL ?

(Company A) = Damaged GL

(Company B) = Restored GOOD GL

Power Issues causing me major problems. (Bad UPS Battery)

Hi Edward:

Adagio's Retrieve function in Ledger has the same ability to select a different source folder.

But it sounds like the batches were already posted in Company A (damaged). Is that correct? If they were already posted you'll need to: (1) Unpost the batches in Company A, (2) Export the batches and then (3) import them into the Company B's Ledger.

Thanks Bruce, I did as you recommended.

I was able to sort out, however had to edit some not all 35 batches for the following;
issues (1) "Entry Number" where a few of the exported batches had "0" for the first entry (Debits and Credits)
and (2) "RATE" field for a few had ".000001" change to " 1 ".

The company is "Multi Currency" and I am also using IMS CounterSales and PO Tracker for "Lot Tracking".

Worked all night to ensure client will be operational today.

Ps. Would have been good if I could retrieve an ARCHIVE BATCH from another database, Issues above would not occur. But its more consulting work for me, not complaining.
