Hi Lydia,

Again, I'm not really sure what you mean by 'Edit' items, whether you simply want to see detailed information amount specific items for customers, or if you intend on changing the information based on those items.

If you want to create a report for a single specific customer, you can do this in 2 ways:

1) Create an extraction rule (or selection criteria) for that specific customer (eg Customer equal to "AA1010"). Attach this extraction rule to the report, and it will only select records based on that customer.

2) Use the online inquiry. You can select a range of customers and items for any date range of transactions, and print a detail or summary report directly from the results by pressing the space bar. This is for Sales Analysis version 6.5A only, and not earlier versions.

For your other report on which items purchased a specific item, the logic is in reverse:

1) Create an extraction rule for a specific item (eg item code equal to "AAA-111-RED"), and attach this to your report. Note you can only have one extraction rule at a time for any report.

2) Do an online inquiry for all customers and a single specific item. Print either a detail or summary report from the results.

Unless the report format is not to your liking, the online inquiry method will be much faster. The other way, you will have to create an extraction rule for every item # and another one for every customer number, then continually edit the report to put the new extraction rule on and print the report.

Hope this helps.
