In order entry, is there a way to ensure that commission is earned on miscellaneous charges ?

I think it does by default. You can test it on sample data.

That being said, I don't have a single client that uses the standard Commission report out of OrderEntry. It's just too simplistic. I always create a custom report using Adagio GridView, and it can be customized to meet the client's exact needs - for example if the commission is earned on collections rather than billings.

Unfortunately, it doesn't do it by default. When I generate the commission report or even a sales report out of O/E, it only shows revenue with SKU's

In the normal scheme of things, commissions are not paid on Misc charges but I would like to echo Steve, I also don't have a single client that uses the standard Commission report out of OrderEntry as it's just too simplistic.
