When I look at my list of items under reports in invoices, it tells me I have 2965 items, yet when I export, Adagio only exports 2913 items. It always seems to be the last items displayed, yet if I add a new item, it will export.

Please advise, Thank you Cheryl

When printing the report the range entered can be blanks to zzzzzz.

On the Export the range is blank to ZZZZZZ which unfortunately will not include any 6 character codes that begin with a lower case letter.

A possible work around is to use Export feature in the Report. Print Preview | Export (Envelope with Arrow Icon)

This will be fixed in a future release.

Thank you so much for the response! I have been fighting with this issue for about 3 years. I will try what you said, and if not I'll go and change any 6 character item numbers beginning with lower case to upper case!

Hi Cheryl,

Another thing you may be able to do is use the SmartFinder to export your items to an Excel file. It would involve editing the grid on the SmartFinder screen to include all the information you want to export. Open the Edit Items screen, click the Find button, then press F6 to bring up the SmartFinder. Then run the 'search' by choosing a criteria such as 'Item Number contains (blank)'. Then click the Export to Excel button (the green X). This would send all the information from the SmartFinder screen into an Excel file.

You would need version 6.8B in order to be able to export from the SmartFinder screen.

I have used the SmartFinder export as you suggested, and I have had problems with it. If a field is blank, the columns to the right shift over one column and the result is ugly.

Try this in AR using Cust #, Name and Address, and leave the customer name blank for a customer, and you will see what I mean.

Hello Steve Schwartz,

I don't have that problem with the sample data (changed Able Cables to blank) and Excel 2003. What versions are you running and which modules have you seen this in?

Now that I am trying to make it happen, I can't. So I withdraw my comment above.

One problem I do have (and this is not Adagio's fault, but Excel's) is that when I export to Excel, customer codes such as NOV01 show up as 11/1/2000.
