Is there a way to restrict drilldown to certain Adagio users, but not others?

I assume that means not only the View function, but from within a financial statement.

The client also wants to restrict viewing to certain accounts, but I'm pretty sure that's not available, only certain departments. Please confirm.

No sorry, there are no security settings in the Financial Reporter to disallow the ability to use the drill-down feature. Either in the Maintain mode or the Print mode.

There are no security settings in either Ledger or the Financial Reporter to disallow viewing particular accounts. Only departments in the Financial Reporter, as you indicated.
