We use E-transact from Accpac in combination with our website, as well Inventory receipts from Accpac for purchases. Does Adagio plan somethings for having a patch to import orders form e-transact and a purchase order module ?
I saw a product called PO Tracker that is supposed to work with Adagio Inventory ?
Any Feedback

Thanks

Andreas

Hello Andreas,

Adagio OrderEntry supports 6 different order import layouts. If you could tell us the layout of the record being genereated by E-transact, we could tell you whether Adagio OrderEntry is capable of importing it directly. Contact me via e-mail if you'd like us to make sure the process would work correctly. We'd need to test with a copy of your data and a sample import file.

There are 2 Purchase Order options available afor Adagio. If you are using Inventory Receipts (which is from UniDevCo incidently), then you'd want to look at Purple IR for Adagio, which will work with your existing IR data. They have several successful installs in North America. PO Tracker implements the purchase order processing available in ACCPAC Plus Inventory control.

Hello,

We have been currently testing Purple Inventory Receipts as a PO solution with complete seamless integration to Adagio. We will be installing this week at one of our sites who is running with IR (DOS) single currency. It looks and works great. IR for Multi-currency looks good too.

Within weeks, Purple Software will be announcing details of their Support Help Desk, Dealer Distribution network, for Purple products for North America, (with North American hours).

In summary, Purple IR looks good and is just like Adagio. Install it, point it at your existing IR data and you are live with Windows PO's. There are some subtle differences between Purple IR and DOS IR. Contact us and we can fill you in. Purple is fairly quickly whittling down the list of differences.
