Good day everyone,

Working with a SalesCQ installation and it's being asked if the system can stop a quote that doesn't have enough stock on hand to fill. I'd think that would probably be more on the OE side of things but since I can't figure it out via the manual I thought I'd ask the community.

Thanks.

Jesse

Hi Jesse

The answer is no, and it wouldn't make business sense otherwise. A quote, almost by definition, is unconcerned with what's in stock.

And by the way, you can't even prevent the entering of an out-of-stock item on a sales order.

Steve

Thanks Steve. I'm in agreement with your logic, but I was asked and had no answer (but do now :)) Hope all is well in your side of the border.
