We have a GV Workspace with a number of Views.
We prompt for a Date Range (with QUERYDATE) in View #1, and the records are filtered and display only within the date range.

In View #2, we use GETLINKEDVALUE, pointing to the first View. This second View also only displays the values based on the date range that we selected in View #1.
Note that we have also set the Workspace Recalc Order.

Everything is working nicely.

Here is the issue:
When we recalculate View #1 with a new date range, the records are displayed correctly for the new filter choice.
But View #2 is still displaying the original data. We can easily refresh View #2, by clicking in the view & pressing F5-Recalc.
My question is: Is there a way to automatically recalc View #2, every time View #1 is refreshed?

Alt-F5 or Alt-F9, or select View | Refresh Workspace Data.

Just so you know, when there are multiple views that use the same date filter, it's a good practice to create a separate view that does nothing but prompt for dates, and then passes those dates to the other views for processing. It cuts down on the need to enter dates each time you want to recalculate a view (unless it's new dates you want).

If you want instructions on how to do this, contact me directly. And thanks to Brian Stief in advance for showing me how to do this.

Steve

PS - I should add that you need to make sure that the Views that you want refreshed are ticked under File | Set Workspace Recalc Order, and are listed in the proper order.

Thank you so much, Steve.
ALT-F5 does the trick.
