Is it possible to have Adagio set to require a department when entering accounts? Or at least warn/flag if an entry does not have a department listed?

What module? If you are talking about Ledger, that's easy, just don't have any accounts where the department is blank. Ledger won't let you enter an invalid acct/dept combination.

Hi Lori,

Payables has a company profile option for validating the Ledger account. Ensure that it is set to validate both the account and department, so that it can follow the same logic as what Steve laid out for Ledger. It is possible to choose to validate only the account, which is not what you were wanting to do.
