Can't say we have heard of this happening all by itself, no. There is always a reason.
Were the checks processed from an Archive batch (thus, the original check numbers would not be used, new numbers would be generated)? Or, was this a new, open check batch?
I would suggest doing a Data Integrity Check on your QC data. If errors are found, you may have to either restore from a good backup made prior to this check run or call your Dealer for more assistance.
If no errors are found, then try reinstalling QC by first removing or renaming the QCWIN (or, QCASP) program directory.
Try to determine what might have happened to cause this, (ie - workstation or system crash, power failure while QC was open - GPF at some point prior to doing check run .. etc).
