1) I'm assuming this is an invoice entered in AR. As you know, taxes are entered in AR as distributions, either as their own separate distribution or as part of a 'tax-included' distribution. Which of these did you experience the problem with? GST should not 'disappear' on an invoice unless the detail was deleted from the invoice. Where did you notice the missing GST, and what sort of changes were yo udoing to the invoices?
2) Are you referring to the description field on an AR invoice, or is it for a different place? On AR invoices, the description field is 30 characters, just as in Accpac Plus. If your description uses CAPITAL letters, which are wider than lowercase, the entire description may not be completely viewed or printed, but it is there and does not lose characters. If this is a printing issue, perhaps do not use all capitals as 30 lowercase letters will easily print.
3) There is no Recurring Invoices function in Adagio Receivables like there is for Accpac Plus. This is because we have a different product called Adagio Invoices that has this capability. Adagio Invoices contains an Archive Batch capability which we feel is far superior to the Accpac Plus recurring batch function. There are many other functions Adagio Invoices can do that recurring invoicing, such as printing or faxing Laser quality invoices, integrate with IC or use it's own non-stock items, and Invoice history maintenance.
In Adagio Ledger and Payables, there is a recurring billing function similar to what exists in the respective Accpac Plus products.
