last week we received an uprgrade for G/L and A/P. After installing the upgrades we attempted to enter quick reports and we now receive an error message that states... program file problem. The values specified in the application resource file result in a globals area which is larger that allowed. What does this mean and how can correct the problem.

Can you be more specific in describing when you are getting the error. Are you receiving the error when accessing AP and then trying to go into QR?

When you upgraded GL and AP did you re-install QR? QR must be installed after GL and AP.

After we installed the A/P and G/L updates we did reinstall the Quick Reports. We attempted to do this procedure three different times.

The error occurs when we initially attempt to open the program. The error will not allow us to open the program at all.

The program worked fine before we installed the upgrades for the G/L and A/P. My biggest concern is that the Quick Reports 6.5A is not compatible with Accounts Payable 6.5A or General Ledger 7.0A.

If it is I do not understand what this error is. Please help! Thank you.

Hi Kristy,

Quik Reports can not currently report on GL7.0A. However, this would not prevent you from opening QR.

Did you also install Service pack SPS2 for WSM 7.0? We have had one other report of this problem and are trying to investigate the cause.

Please give us more information on the environment. Which version of Windows are you running? Are you on a network? If you are, what kind and what are the versions?

We have confirmed that the issue is the SPS2 and we are currently working on the problem.

I have emailed you an updated file for QR: the qrsrsc.ld4 file.

Place it in the QRASP and you will be able to proceed.
