How can we tell which costing method was set up when our system was installed? The people who set that up are no longer with the company. Average, LIFO, or FIFO? We are trying to reconcile costs in the ICItem123Master with our purchase history and BOM.

There can be more than one costing method used. Look on the Edit menu for "Control Accounts". You will have at least one Control Account but you could have more. Each of them will have its own Costing Method, though they are often the same. Then look at the Inventory items; each must have a Control Account assigned to it.
