Hello Roto-Rooter Plumbers,

Did you print out the General Ledger batch in Receivables before you retrieved the batch? Was that OK?

Backup your General Ledger data and send it to me so that we can take a look. If it's too large to e-mail as an attachment, then upload it to our database repair site.

The medics are on their way... (although by now they're probably a little late )

There appears to have been some corruption in the AR GL Batch file that contained data back to May 2005. Using GridView and Excel Direct we were able to create an Detail Only import batch that recovered the 5 months worth of A/R GL Entries. Unfortunately there was no backup of A/R prior to the retrieve and we could not determine what was wrong with the ARGLBTCH file.

The file from our FTP site is a GL backup of your repaired data. As long as you have not done any work in the G/L since you uploaded the data all you need do is unzip the contents of the file into your data folder replacing the GL data that is currently in that folder. No one can be in the G/L at the time. I believe your data folder is I:\Softrak\Data but I can not be certain.
