Hi, Dawn
The QRDDEFS file will only be 512k if it was not correctly created.
If you haven't already tried it, you can remove the QRASP directory and reinstall QR, making sure to reinstall any 3rd Party applications that are included in your reports afterwards.
Then try copying your QRDDEFS.dat file from the 1Gb Server to the Server with the 8Gb drive. If that does not work, try creating a new QRD file in sample data - does this work? If sample data works, then there is something going on with your data & the way it is being accessed from that Server - check the QRD file properties to make sure it is not 'read only' on the problem Server.
There is a more current release of QR - the 991116 ptf. You can get this from your Dealer, or if you are a Registered with us, you can contact Customer Service and they will be able to assist you.
We cannot duplicate this here. We are using WSM 7.0 with QR6.5A 991116. The issue I indicated in my earlier response wasn't quite the same as yours, but the work arounds I have suggested have always worked in the past.
