So everything we have on our financials still appears to be accurate and balanced but we are getting the following error messages on data integrity check

Account [ 1200 - ] fiscal year [2017-] current balance 994,645.85 does not match total of all currencies 286,206.23.

Application Integrity Phase ... 3 error(s) and 2 warning(s) found
Finished at: 2017.07.25 09:27:18

Everything else is listed as OK. We just added MC in May so this is the first time we have had these errors They did not come up in our last integrity checks. Any help to clear them would be appreciated. It appears to be something in how adagio calculates.

Thanks

I assume you're retrieving from Adagio Ledger. Did you do retrieve all transactions? Have you checked Ledger's DIC? Is it error free? What version of Ledger? What version of FX?

Ledger version 9.2B (170218)
MC version 9.2B (161128)
AR Version 9.2B (161013) (the account with error is receivables)

Everything is retrieved to ledger.
This is the DIC from ledger, all other applications DIC had no error.

Also of note for this account is that the total for account 1200 is $994,645.85 but if I look at the balances it only shows $245,309.73 Canadian and $31,450.20 (converted to 40,896.50) USD. Thus I think the error is that the balances are not picking up some items from the account.

Oh - "FX" means "Foreign Exchange", not Adagio FX!

Yes sorry I am used to using FX at my old firm for many years. It is hard to get used to MC instead.

As a further update this error appears to have been caused when we turned on Multi currency for this account last week.
The errors appear to be caused as the 2016 balance and 2017 transactions up to July 15 don't get assigned to a currency and were not sure how to fix that..

Hello Braedon,

It's likely that this is going to require some assistance from your Adagio Consultant to sort out. I doubt there is much that you will be able to do to deal with the integrity problem.

It may be so.
It appears that the account balances between USD and CAD only include transactions which have occurred after we turned on the multi currency. It does not register the CAD transactions from before that date and therefore it is confused when it sees a balance in the account as CAD but not in the data field where the multi currency balances data comes from.
It appears to treat these older pieces of data as undefined. Is this something out consultant should be able to try to find with Grid View pulling out the data or is it likely to be more complicated?
We would like to avoid the same issue if/when we turn on multi currency for another account such as AP.
