The 'critical error 1212' is indicative of a problem with a missing or incorrect dictionary file, and not a problem with your data. This is likely why you are able to perform this process within Payables but not BankRec.
Which function are you wanting to see the detail from historical transactions? Do you mean within Vendor inquiry and looking at the Applied details for Historical records? Or somewhere else? Also, at which point do you receive the error - when first opening the Vendor inquiry, accessing the vendor transactions screen, accessing the historical screen, opening the Applied information, or somewhere else?
I am able to access Payables Vendor history from within BankRec with no errors. Here are two things to try:
- Reinstall the BankRec service pack. If this doesn't help then next re-install the Payables service pack.
- The dictionary may have changed for this version. If you used the column editor to display different fields for the History grid, this layout may have changed. If you can get to the History grid with no errors, access the column editor and click the Reset button. If you get the error immediately on accessing the history screen, then you reset this manually - edit the \softrak\brwin\brwin.ini file with Notepad and remove the section to do with the custom grid, with a section header of [grdVPHistList] and about 7 subsequent rows with field information.
