When will this be fixed in FX? It has been almost a year and a half that my clients have not been able to print out a chart of accounts or simply print out a list of departments in their FX datasets.

Thanks for reporting the Chart of Accounts issue in FX. I've written it up for R&D.

With respect to the Departments report printing, I believe this problem occurred in special circumstances only. If you add a Retained Earnings account, it prints. I realize this is a workaround and have updated the issue from this thread ( http://softrak.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/52311#Post52311 ) with R&D for you.

Thank you for sending the data. Here's what I did. I created a new account 3900 (blank department) and set it as a Retained Earnings account.

When I print the Departments report now, I see all of the original 17 departments on it.

Another workaround would be to use the ExcelDirect button on the Edit Departments window assuming the user has access to the function.

Unfortunately, neither of those will work for my end users as, the created accounts will be removed during the nightly update and I tend not to give end users access to edit functions so they do not screw up their datasets. Some of my clients have upwards of 25 to 30 datasets updating nightly. I have a favorite report setup to print chart of accounts in dept order, department list and Detail listing in department order. 2 of the 3 do not work. Remember, many of my FX users are non financial managers and very inexperienced with Adagio. They need to be spoon fed their required info and the work around such as sending the department list to excel is not a reasonable work around in my opinion.

18 months is a long time to have a work around for 2 standard reports not functioning. It has been quite embarrassing when I go to train users on the use of the program and I have to tell them this report does not work and this other report does not work.

Manager's are constantly getting new departments added to their data, they need to be able to print out a current chart of account on a fairly regular basis.

The Chart of Accounts report has been fixed in the Adagio FX 9.3A (20180912) .
