Client uses Adagio Invoices but not Inventory.

Quantity of Items as shown on invoice must be by eaches but everything is priced as $ per 1000.

For example 5555 shipped at price of 18.75 per 1000. 5555 X .1875 = 104.15625 or 104.16

Client would like invoice form to display quantity in eaches but display price as price per M. Is there a way to do that?

Kate:

Could you put the cost per M in an optional field for each item and print that on the invoice?

The only problem would be that those numbers would have to be updated manually since they would not be calculated from the price.

Hi Kate Spontak,

Ralph's right - this is the easiest way to accomplish this. If there are 100's of items to maintain prices on, you can export the item list to Excel, Calculate all the optional fields (the price per M) and re-import them.

I have checked this and it all works.

Good idea but not workable in this case.

Client uses a fairly short list of items that are modified for each use to add color and material options. Prices are not assigned to items until they are Invoiced because there is so much variation in prices.

We would have to be able to modify the optional field for the item while editing the item on the invoice.

Hi Kate Spontak,

Well, you can have the optional field and just enter the number required. You could use the pop-up calculator to pick up the price per each and divide it by 1000 and then paste the result into the field.

An Alternative would be to have anopther line specifically for the price per 1000 where the "factor" is used to divide down (or multiply up) the number. This amount would appear on the next line of the invoice.
