Sorry for the delay...I was experiencing trouble getting this to post.

Please try the suggestions in my earlier response regarding your error messages. Make sure the datadicts match the versions of the ACCPAC Plus modules you are using and that they are not corrupt.

To do this, you could (one by one) make a copy of your existing datadicts and put them into a temp directory. After the first one is copied, go into QL and try to initialize it. If it works, then copy the next one in and try to initialize it, and so on, until you find the "bad" datadict.

If you get the errors and problems right off the bat, it very well could be due to Norton AV. We have heard of various problems when having it enabled or installed, but it is not just with our software.

Try disabling it. If QL works ok then, I would either keep NAV disabled while working with QL, or switch to another virus software.
We use McAfee here.
