On the release notes from GridView 9.2A:

"A new option allows you to have the repeating values in a printed View suppressed on all rows but the first and total row." - Can this be turned off?

Is there an option where I can change the subtotal by whatever column I pick which do not depend on how the data is sorted? For instance, the data is sorted by Item and then by Customer Number but I want it to be sub-total by Customer Number?

Sorry for the delay.

1. Don't format the View as a report, and then the duplicates won't be suppressed.
2. In order to calculate a subtotal, the records must be sorted so that all the record needed for the subtotal arrive at the same time. I'm not sure how you would want the information presented. I can imagine a circumstance where the subtotals you wanted were calculated in another View, and then read when needed in the first View the user is looking at.

I would post examples, but GridView 9.2B workspaces are not backwards compatible.
