Which report are you trying to print, a batch listing, a posting journal, the Cash Requirements or the G/L transaction listing?

Normally, duplicate information is suppressed on a report to make it more readable, but the amounts should still be shown.

Since this is more of a technical support question, I'll move the post into that forum.

I cannot re-create the behaviour you're seeing. What version of Payables are you running? Could you e-mail me a PDF of the report?
