Here is a Technical note for setting up Paymate Platinum 2.41 to work with Adagio JobCost.
In Platinum:
1. In Setup, Preferences, set the Default job cost interfaces section to Export interface: Adagio
2. In Setup, Job cost, Job centres, add the Job codes.
3. In Setup, Job cost, Cost centres, add the Phases and if applicable, the Categories.
To add a Category, add the Phase code followed by the Category code in the code field. If you are not using the full 6 digits for the Phase, make
sure that the category code is not entered in the first 6 characters of the code. For example, for:
Phase A1, Category CL1, you would enter: " A1 CL1" or "A1 CL1"
From here, follow the steps described in the Paymate Platinum manual or Help to Process Job Cost Entries.
To Export transactions for Adagio JobCost.
Go to Payroll, Export, Export to job cost:
Parameters page:
Select the range of JobCost related Cost centres.
Select the date range.
Preferences page:
Set the Destination for the Export file name. The file name should be: PRAJBTCH. It should be placed in the Adagio data directory and have the same data extension as Adagio JobCost.
Set the Batch date.
*** The Paymate Platinum Report Writer may be used to create a Retrieval file for Adagio JobCost:
The file must be in CSV format. It should be placed in the same location as the Adagio JobCost data and it should have the same extension. The file name must be PRAJBTCH or Adagio JobCost will not recognize it as a batch of Payroll transactions.
This is a sample of the required format:

In Adagio:
At this time, the file created by Payroll, Export, Export to job cost, can only be imported as a Cost batch into Adagio JobCost.
Go to File, Import, Cost Batches and create a new template.
The File type should be ASCII CSV (Delimited).
The File name should be PRAJBTCH. The file should be created in the same location as the Adagio JobCost data and it should have the same extension.
The template should contain the following fields. Leave them as the default unless otherwise noted:
Reference
Transaction Date
Units
Filler (Number)
Amount
Job
Phase
Category
Account
Department
Field Defaults screen:
Entry Type (Set the Value to 5 for a Cost entry.)
*** If the Paymate Platinum Report Writer was used to create a retrieval file for Adagio JobCost, go to Maintenance, Retrieve Batches to retrieve the transactions.
