The transaction reports in Adagio Receivables require the generation of a temporary work file - you might see the progress bar when printing these reports. They also use a different table that for the standard listing reports. The same goes for other Adagio programs: Payables, Ledger, etc.
If you can use Adagio to open the data (and the Integrity Check is clean), then your data is just fine and the issue lies solely with how the reports are generating and printing.
- Can you preview a simple report such as the Company Profile or Terms list without errors? If so, then this would point towards the temporary file-based reports.
- Can you preview the Aged Trial Balance report, rather than print to printer? If so, then the print job is being messed up on it's way to the printer; that's more of a hardware scenario.
- Run the CHKSYS.EXE utility on every workstation that is having a problem. It is a workstation checking program, and one of the things it checks is the proper existance of report tables. It may be that the workstation is not looking in the correct place for the report tables and is loading an older one.
- Has anything new been installed? Problems like this tend not to happen 'all of a sudden without anything else changing'. Something had to have changed - though you may not yet be aware of what that is.
