Hello facpai505,
Actually, I was asking about which version of the Novell client you are running. That's the piece of software that runs on the workstations that communicates with your Novell server. On the WinXP workstations, you will see the Novell "N" in the system tray area of your task bar. Right mouse click on that and select "Properties" and "Client" to see the version of the client. There are known problems with some versions.
You shouldn't be posting from ACCPAC Plus AP as you will lose the ability to see the General Ledger distributions of the invoices and checks that have been entered.
Also, if the computers are new, then it's possible that you have a bardware problem. Create a DOS batch file that copies all your accounting data from the server to the workstation and back continously (have the batch file call itself) and leave that running overnight (at least) or over a weekend. It should still be running when you come in the next day. If it isn't, you have a hardware (probably network card) problem with your new computers.
Remember, make a backup of your data in Adagio Ledger just before you are about to post your batch. Use File | Backup on the Adagio Ledger menu and select "Ledger data". That way you won't have to re-enter the data if there is a problem.
My guess is that you need to update your Novell client or change some of its settings. See this post:
