Since we upgraded to PO 9.2A (150217), after each day end we lose all of our filter applied styles. We have to go to Edit/Document Filters and Apply Styles manually on every filter, every morning to get them back.

Hi Susan,

The DIC resets all the Filter Styles based on the Filter priority. Check to make sure that the Filters with the styles you want applied have a higher priority (lower number) than other Filter Styles in the list.

In 9.2A you can sort the Filters by Priority sequence which makes this task easier.

Hi Susan,

Do you run DataCare? Another site reported that DataCare is not regenerating the filters and styles, and I have been able to duplicate this problem with PO 9.2A and DC 9.1A.

Yes, we run DataCare. Actually it just ran and my PO filters are gone again. They are prioritized as Andrew suggested but that didn't fix it.

Can you confirm that it's a problem with the rebuilding of PO filters and not a file integrity error and rebuild? The former occurs at the end of the application check.

On Monday night I installed:

• Ledger 9.2A Upgrade (150119)
• PO 9.2A Upgrade (150217)
• IC 8.1E Service Pack (150224)
• OE 8.1F Service Pack (150227)
• Sales CQ 8.1C Service Pack (150226)
• Toolkit 9.2A SP2 (150227)

Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday nights DataCare ran and reported no file or application errors. Everything checked okay.

Adagio PurchaseOrders 9.2A (150217): File Integrity
Filter Matches ... Checked OK
Filter Matches Req ... Checked OK
Filter Master ... Checked OK

Adagio PurchaseOrders 9.2A (150217): File Compaction

Adagio PurchaseOrders 9.2A (150217): Application Integrity
Document Filters ... Checked OK
Requisition Filters ... Checked OK

Yet, each day my PO document filter styles are gone and have to be reapplied.

As a workaround, if you unselect 'require exclusive access' on the DataCare job, filters will not be rebuilt. I'm assuming it's run during off hours.
