I am running GL version 9.2A (150119)
I retrieved batches from the Accounts Payable and posted them. All the postings are showing but the accounts do not add up, Example If the balance was $100.00 and $200.00 was posted to the account the balance still says $!00.00 I was advised to re download the new version again but it changed nothing.

How are you determining the balance in the account? Printing a Trial Balance Report? Looking at the number on a Grid? Printing a financial statement?

You may want to check the dates of your payables, It might have posted in the wrong fiscal year or fiscal period.

For view transactions;

1. Which three numeric accounts are you displaying (the default is Balance only)?
2. until you drill down on a single account dept pair you will not see the transactions, only balances or net changes.

Also for your transactions details there is no indication of which account number you are showing the transactions for.

Just because a single account balance is not what you expected doesn't mean the Gl is out of balance.

Have you run a data integrity check (File | Data Integrity? Is it error free? Have you recently attempted a Rebuild after a data integrity error?

If I had my hands on the data I could figure out what the problem is quickly. In this forum it could take a while as we go back and forth with questions and answers. This problem would not be solved by reinstalling Ledger. Hopefully your Adagio dealer can assist you by taking a real look at the data.

Was an error batch created when you posted the AP batch?

No

The account is 7970 - 700 it shows a balance of $119.78 so it only picking up one amount that was posted. I did run a data integrity and it shows 64 errors I tried rebuilding and it showed detail missing on the accounts that are out on this account
it says Detail missing $506.71
I do hope that our dealer will be able to help me but he must be out of town as I have not heard from him

Hello.

If your data was damaged before the post, then the program will have had trouble posting the figures. Do you have a backup from before the posting run? Do you have an older backup? Can you determine how long the data has been damaged?
