Perhaps Gridview, which you have purchased, could provide you with the information you want rather than modifying the Inventory Item Report.

If you wanted to modify the report you would need to purchase a copy of Crystal Reports, the learning curve is steep.

All the standard reports in Adagio can be modified using Crystal Reports for Adagio (for OrderEntry) or SAP Crystal Report 2013 (for Ledger). We are currently updating the reporting technology in the Adagio modules, hence the requirement for different Crystal Reports versions.

The steps to make the change you want are quite simple.

• Open up the Order Action report in \Softrak\OEwin\StandardRP in Crystal Reports.
• Add the Most Recent Cost from Inventory to the report.
• Save the report in \Softrak\Oewin\ModRP

However, this pre-supposes that:

1. You already own the necessary copy of Crystal Reports, and
2. you are familiar with how Crystal Reports works.

It's "B" above that may be the problem. Crystal is very powerful (it's used to create all the management reports in Adagio), but you don't get power without complexity. It's designed for programmers, not for mortals. Only a small percentage of our Adagio consultants have undertaken the steep learning curve.

If you are familiar with Crystal reports, and have a copy, then following the steps above to add the field you need will be no problem. However, the easiest path may well be to ask your Adagio consultant to organize getting the change made for you.

I am curious why this field is relevant to you when looking at the results of the Order Action Report.

I need to know what the cost is of open orders, I can get the sale price of open order but not the cost.
