The "Report Table" drive (amoung many others) is set in the registry by the program install. You cannot just move the programs from one server to another without reinstalling at least one of the applications.

You need to have:

- full rights to the server resource. This may mean you must grant your users Administrator rights (make a member of the Administrator group) when installing.

- full rights to the local PC including the registry. The user must be a power user or administrator during installation.

Hello JPBoudreau,

Are you doing a Workstation install? The error message indicates that you should be reinstalling Adagio, not just re-doing the Workstation install. If you moved only the Softrak directory, the new server may not have all of the information needed.

When you install Adagio, the ?Report Tables drive? is set and the Report tables are placed in a QRASP directory. If the ?Report Tables drive? was set to F:, you should move the QRASP from the old server to the new one. If this does not resolve the problem, you should install Adagio again from your CDs.

If you are using Crystal Reports for Adagio, re-install that first.

Then install just one Adagio module and its last Service pack/update. (The last Service pack always contains all the "fixes" from the previous ones.)

That should update the configurations files and registray entries needed to run the workstation install for the rest of the applications.

You may also have to locate the file ADSPROF.xxx where xxx is your data extention. It is in the data folder and there is one for each data extension if you have more than one. You can edit this with Notepad to change the paths for the currency and tasks files, or just delete it and Adagio will prompt you for those locations when you start the first module with that extension, and will then re-create the file.

Hello again JPBoudreau,

You don?t have Crystal Reports for Adagio so do not worry about this step.

I am going to clarify my previous answer:
There are 2 QRASP directories (to complicate matters).

The one I was referring to will be on the root of the ?Report Tables drive?. It is not a sub-directory of Softrak.

The QRASP directory under Softrak is used to verify that the tables in the ?Report Tables drive? are accurate.

Hello JPBoudreau,

Because the report tables issue is resolved, I will put suggestions for the new error on your new post:
Invoice module error: "Internal error (2708) file handle invalid"
