I'd like to get help with the line spacing on the cheque advice details. Currently, all the invoice details are printing double spaced in Advice detail 1 and 2 and I'd like to change it to single spacing.

There is no specific setting in Payables that causes the advice to print double spaced.

Did this just start happening? If so what changes were recently made to the cheque specification?

Try editing your cheque specification (Maintenance | Maintain Specifications) and check the Advice Detail section. Is there white space below the data fields? Then click on the Advice Detail title bar, then right click, and then click on properties. Set the section height to 0.1667 (the height of a line).

Not sure how to go about doing this then you may need the assistance of your Adagio Consultant.

Is this when printing from the spec designer, or a real check? If this is just from the designer, the situation may just be that your check spec has 2 detail sections, one for use when printing payments and the other when printing cash invoices. Should this be your situation, then you can safely ignore this, as only one section prints for real checks.

If this is for a real payment or cash invoice, then the solution is as Doug suggests, to edit the check spec and ensure that the section height of the detail section is only one row, or about 0.1667 inches (6 lines per inch).
