This is not really an Adagio question, but it is a common enough question that I thought it would be useful to post here.

My client stores their image files locations in the Image tab of Item Maintenance. When they export this field to export, the link exports as expected.

Is there any way for Excel to automatically convert this link to the image within the workbook? Right now they add the image manually to the Excel workbook, but the image doesn't move when the rest of the fields are re-sorted or otherwise manipulated.

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

You can add simple VBA code in Excel which will grab the image from the file path name. In Excel, in order to sort images with the rest of the data, you'd have to specify to allow it to be move-able within the image properties. It would have to conform to the row/column sizes as well.
