"Cannot get it to work" is a bit vague.

Does it launch? Will it open your specification? Can you make and save a change to your specification (Just a simple one like adding some text).

iT DOES NOT LAUNCH, I tried to open an advice, advice, cheque format. We downloaded
payables on a new computer and somehow I cannot get the cheque format to come up
in the printer file. So i went in and redesigned a cheque format but it will does not work
either.

really at a standstill

thank you

Normally, your Adagio Consultant would help install Adagio on a new computer to help avoid things like this.

Did you re-install Payables on the new computer or just copy files over from the old computer? What happens when you choose "Maintain Specifications" from the Adagio Payables menu? Do you get an error message of any description? If the Designer opens, but then you cannot open any specification, then that's a different problem.

The specifications are stored with your Adagio Payables data. If Adagio Payables is running there normally would be any further need for adjustment.

I reinstalled from the softrak website the whole program. I did not copy from another computer.
I can open specifications and get one file name but when i go to print and pull in the file name
i cannot access that file with the format i want.

I want an advice, advance cheque format and i save that on a file but when i pull up that file
in the print cheques it is blank so i have not saved it but i did not create it. so i am going in
circles.

thanks

Irene:

This is not an issue easily solvable over the forum, I'll have someone form our office give you a call and investigate the problem.

If you don't change the name of the specification under File | Options then it is likely that you are selecting the original specification when you test.

line to adjust for the font name.. if the name is not there then you need the exact line name.. do you have an example?
