We recently upgraded our Adagio software to Adagio FX 9.0B (2011.11.24).
Now have problems with Statement of Earnings report.
All budget columns are double the amount they should be.
And all Revenue budget columns are indicated as negative amounts.
How do I fix this?

From the Release Note:
Quote:
• Compatible with Simply Accounting 2012. Note: Budgets are retrieved as they were entered in Simply - the sign is flipped on Revenue accounts.

We would recommend using the tools to export / import and edit budgets in FX to get the numbers the way you wish and then disabling the retrieve of the budget figures on the retrieve dialog.

Have exported budget from Sage 50 and saved as ascii csv file. Tried to import into Adagio and got stuck at
question record as net changes. Have tried that but still no luck. Further advice?

You want to import the Budget numbers, not the net changes. These are two separate imports

And if you mean the screen that says 'Import figures as net changes' after choosing to import the Budget file, then you can simply click the Import button to continue.

An ancient implementation of importing within the program allowed a second option to add the imported values to the existing values, but that option is no longer supported. The only remaining option here is 'Net changes'.

Yes, that is the screen I meant, I have clicked the import button to continue and get the following error message

Invalid date '21001/1' for field call 'Acct/Dept" of record 1

How do I fix that?

The Account and Department were in the same column. They need to be 2 separate columns to match the Import template.
