I recently upgraded from Accounts Receivable 9.0C to 9.1A. I am running Window 7 professional and Windows Small Business Server 2008. It seemed to install fine, no Adagio error messages came up. However, after it finished installing I received a windows "Program Compatibility Assistant" error saying the "program might not have installed correctly" You could pick to "reinstall using recommended settings" or "this program installed correctly". I picked the "it installed correctly" and it seems to be working fine. I was wondering if this is a common problem or am I doing something wrong.

Hi Peggy,

That message from the 'Program Compatibility Assistant' was introduced in Windows Vista, and appears when it is believed that a program did not install correctly. The logic that Windows uses here is whether or not the shortcut was created.

Because the Adagio upgrade would not have created a new shortcut, Windows may think the program did not install correctly. But in our experience, Adagio has indeed installed correctly and you can safely ignore the warning and indicate it installed correctly, as you did.
