Michael: Typically there are account numbers in column B. When you look at the formulas in the cells (ie. F12), do they refer to column B or column C?

What is the formula in cell F12? And do you have the Fiscal Period correct? If you use Departments, is the correct Department selected (or "Combined" instead of a single Department)?

Are we talking about the account numbers or the "Account Data" Pane under the View menu choice?

In the registry, while NOT in the Financial Reporter, delete: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Softrak Systems\Adagio FX Financial Reporter\State-Bar11

I bet it's showing up on a second monitor that is not connected. Reset your Windows screen properties to make sure that it knows you are only connected to a single monitor.

Doug:
With the financial reporter program version 2.1.1.1867, dated 11/18/2011 that ships with the current release of FX 9.0B (2011.11.24), if I un-dock the View Account Data or any other view window and move it to a different monitor, and then use the View / Customize / Views / reset process, then the respective view window gets re-docked to the left of the financial reporter window. I did not see a problem with this, using Maintain Financial Reports.
Reset will restore the docking status of a View window, and also when multiple view windows are stacked vertically with a shrunken height, but it does not restore the window width. Perhaps this what you are referring to? I could not shrink a docked View window to a size so that it is invisible - the little 'X' button and enough of the window to display this is always displayed.
Because the display and positioning settings are stored in the Windows Registry, to be able to reset you require proper rights to the registry.
