We are changing over from Accpac Plus to Adagio for our receivables - and one of the procedures that does not appear to be available in Adagio is to set up an archived batch. At every month end we have approximately 50 repeating transactions - how do we setup a repeating batch?

General comment - your help (and your response time) on this technical support forum has been excellent. A real treat in this day and age of being totally unable to contact anyone for support!

Hello Barry,

Thank you for your kind words!

Adagio Receivables does not have an Archive Batch feature. If you are posting the same entries every month, you could make a batch that serves as a template. Then each month, copy the batch. You can revise the dates when you copy the batch.

Adagio Invoices is much better suited to recurring billings than this. With Adagio Invoices, you have a separate list of batches for Archives. You can insert entries in the middle of a batch if you want to keep the batch in a specific order. There is also an Update Archive function that allows you to modify your Archive batches. For example, if the rate changes or there is a tax table change, you will not have to modify 50 entries. You modify the Item in Invoices and then use Update Archive to update the price and tax amounts.
