I would like to be able to see my cash balance at a specific date within the period/month using the financial reporter. Unfortunately this picks up the balances at the end of a period, has anyone figured out a way to get the details at say July 15th instead of the 31st? Please let me know.

The financial reporter is not designed to show balances in the middle of a period, only at the beginning or end. For that matter, the standard reports such as the Trial Balance and Detail Listing are not designed that way either.

You will have to use a custom reporting tool and design such a report. The two Adagio custom reporting tools are Crystal Reports for Adagio and Adagio Gridview, and either one will work. Crystal Reports will make presentation quality reports but has a steep learning curve. Gridview is easier to learn and use and the report will be spreadsheet-like rather than presentation quality.

If you have not worked with either program, you will probably want your Adagio consultant to help you.

Thank You, we have Grid View, but have not currently been using it, so I will have a look at this today. As to the bank rec I want to be able to pull in what is promised at a certain date as well so I need to pull in details from the clearing account, plus I like to look ahead and see for example what we have promised up to the 15th of next month so I think GV is what I need.
