We have been experiencing a sporadic issue with Ledger 9.1A. From the Grid, when we try to drill down occasionally nothing happens. We just ran a workshop with 20 people and about 3 of the trainees experienced that problem. Just now I had the same thing happen. I have been using the product for over a week and today is the first time it happened to me. What I experience when I double click to drill down on an account is that the focus moves to another active window.

Any thoughts?

Are we talking about Ledger or the Financial Reporter?

Ledger.

After speaking with my IT Tech we have determined that it is an NTFS error. Once I restored my Adagio data the problem went away.

One other thing I have noticed with the new Ledger whenever drilling down into transactions and a modal window opens, when you close the window the focus does not come back to Ledger but rather to the most recently opened window (other than Ledger), like Outlook, or Excel.

The loss of focus or the transaction display not working? I haven't seen the transaction display problem at all, so I don't know what we should be looking at.

Yes. We will be checking out Ledger losing focus when the transaction Window is closed.

Has there been a resolution to this yet? I am having the same issue. When I drill down on an account in the View Transaction/Budget window or click on Transactions, instead of opening a window, the focus goes to the most recently opened window (Outlook or Excel). The problem seems intermittant, as there were no problems until this afternoon.

This will be fixed in an upcoming Hot Fix to Ledger. It only happens if you are saving the Window sizes and positions under User Preferences.
