Just got a new computer, yeah!!!
No problems running all my Adagio modules but AdagioPDF is not shown as a printer option. Any ideas?
Running GL 9.0D 111017

Hi Karin,

Do you have rights to add new printer drivers to your workstation? The workstation setup installs the AdagioPDF printer driver to your workstation, and you need to have rights, otherwise the process will fail.

Perhaps the main install did not put in the \softrak\system\AdagioPDF\AdagioPDF.exe (which is the setup application for the PDF printer driver). If this failed, it would have been noted in the \softrak\ledger\install.txt installation log.

Software was installed by our IT team so would assume they have the rights but will check with them. If the proper rights are there, can it be installed simply by running adagioPDF.exe or do we need to reinstall the modules?

BTW, other stations, recently installed, do have AdagioPDF...

The workstation setup must be performed while logged in as you, rather than an IT login. That other stations have this suggest that the workstation setup was not done in the correct way with the correct rights.

We've tried re-installing the workstation modules, under my userid, but AdagioPDF just doesn't want to show itself!
Our IT guru was able to install NovaPDF by running the .EXE from the location mentioned above but when I print to PDF from Adagio it has the "not licensed" blurb at the bottom, so is obviously not functioning properly.

I've attached a copy of our softrak\ledger\install.exe file to see if that might help determine the problem.

Thanks
Karin

If you tested it using a non Adagio Program, the "not licensed" blurb always shows at the bottom.

Yes, I've noticed that with non-Adagio PDFs but now it's also showing it with Adagio reports too! Any other suggestions on how to get it to not print the "not licensed" blurb?

Sounds like your IT staff install NovaPDF when you need the AdagioPDF (a licensed OEM version of NovaPDF). AdagioPDF should have been installed when you did the Adagio workstation setup (assuming you did this correctly and you had the appropriate rights for the install to completed.

My suggestion is to uninstall Adagio and NovaPDF from the workstation and then redo the Adagio workstation setup with the correct user permissions (grant the user administrator status).

I am trying to do the workstation setup for Ledger 9.0D on the 2nd computer in our office (it worked fine on the 1st), and it keeps hanging at the AdagioPDF stage - it isn't even copying the files, it is just gets to the stage of 'skipping file: C:\...\AdagioPDF\AdagioPDF.exe and hangs. Doesn't seem to matter if I run the workstation setup using the ordinary 'open' or 'open as administrator'. Any suggestions?
