When I use the Adagio Backup I get a error message saying 'Stream Write Error'.

What is this and how do I get rid of it?

Does this mean the backups are corrupt?

Hi Brenda,

I've seen this error message once before, but not related at all to the data Backup function. Some questions:

1) Which Adagio program are you using, and what version is it? (see the Help | About screen)
2) What version of Windows are you running?
3) Are there any 'unusual' characters in the paths to either the data directory or the location where the backups are saved to. I'm thinking anything other than alpha letters or numbers.
4) Are there any 'unusual' characters in the Prefix for the backup file name, in Backup Options?
5) Can you duplicate this error every time?
6) Can other stations duplicate this error when they run backup?
7) If you are running any other Adagio programs, does this same error occur when running backup there?
8) Does the problem exist if you attempt to run backup on Sample data?
