Hi,

We normally create a generic file name that is not in the folder and save in the template.

Then when you do the import, the folder name automatically comes up with the available files to import and you just select the file that you want to import. We do this for GL imports, Bank Download imports, Invoice imports into AR, etc.

The import template does not attempt to verify that the file exists when saving.

The default import will delete the import file if the import is successful, so this file gets purged of completed imports.
