Hi All,

Can someone please tell me how to disable the "Delete" button on the Invoices tab in OE? I never noticed it there before and a new employee started using it!

What exactly happens when an invoice is deleted?

1. Does it delete the A/R record as well?

2. Does it put the inventory back in to stock?

We're using OE 8.1E (120612).

Hi Susan,

Orders can be deleted form the Current grid (and a Security option can be set to disallow deleting orders), but Invoices and Credit Notes should not have a Delete button available. History has a Delete button available for all document types, and this button can be disabled for all screens by disallowing security access to the Purge History function (Maintenance menu).

I suspect the screen you are looking at is the History Invoices, and the solution is to disallow Purge History for that user.

This is just purging OE History and has zero affect on AR, IC, GL or SalesAnalysis or anywhere else in Adagio (apart from reports that read the OE History, of course).

Thank-you! That option is now disabled.

So, does it come off the AR record? What about inventory?
