I'll suggest contacting your Adagio consultant. Something odd is happening and it's not the sort of thing that can a Forum discussion can resolve.

Was the back up an incremental backup? Incremental backups don't work with Adagio and they create a mess of your database when restored. If you did a .zip backup from Adagio, I recommend you restored that one.
